A judge ordered a Bartlesville man to stand trial on charges that he sexually assaulted a girl over the past six years.
After a preliminary hearing on Thursday, a Washington County judge decided the case against James Gibson, 35, should move forward. He also granted the prosecution's request to add two additional charges of child sexual abuse. His ruling brings to four the number of charges against Gibson.
According to a court affidavit, Gibson raped the girl at a rural home south of Ochelata and at a Bartlesville home, with the latest incident occurring in April 2013.
Records show Gibson, who is currently free on bond, has his next court hearing on October 30.
