Police Search For Two Men In South Tulsa Burglaries

Police are searching for two men seen breaking into houses just north of 81st and Riverside.

Police are searching for two men believed to be responsible for a burglary and an attempted burglary just north of 81st and Riverside. One woman was home when she caught the men taking the screen off a rear window, according to a Tulsa Police bulletin.

The attempted first degree burglary took place at 3:15 p.m. near 1500 East 77th Street. The woman told police she was inside her home when she heard someone at a back window of her house. She saw a two men at the window and yelled that she would call police. Both men ran off.

About an hour later, officers were called to a burglary around 7700 South Trenton Avenue - just south of the other address. No one was home at the time of the burglary, but a neighbor told police she saw two men walking around the house earlier in the day.

The men seen at both addresses matched the same descriptions. Both were in their early 20s, about 5'8" and 160 pounds. One man was black and wore a blue shirt and dark pants. The second man was white or Hispanic and was dressed in a white shirt and black shorts,
