Police: Juvenile Arrested After Threat To 'Blow Up' Collinsville High School

Collinsville Police arrested a high school student Friday afternoon after they say the juvenile threatened to blow up the school.

Collinsville Police arrested a high school student Friday afternoon after they say the juvenile threatened to blow up the school. 

Police Chief Jimmie Richey said a teacher was talking to students after classes had ended at about 3:30 p.m. when one student made the threat to the teacher. 

Police were called and Richey said they requested Tulsa County Sheriff's Office help in conducting a search of the campus with bomb sniffing dogs. 

Those bombing sniffing dogs and police did not find any type of explosive device.

The high school is located on Highway 20 on the west side of Collinsville.
