The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority is investigating the damage done to one of its bridges by a dump truck.

The bridge in question carries the Creek Turnpike over the Kenosha in Broken Arrow.

A dump truck apparently tried to travel under the bridge with its bed extended. The impact knocked the bed, including the hydraulic ram used to raise and lower it, onto the roadway.

There are no reports of any injuries.

A spokesman for the OTA says its preliminary check of the bridge shows only minor damage.
