A driver police say is responsible for the death of his passenger has been arrested on a complaint of second degree manslaughter. Edwver Naun Ramos is in the Tulsa County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
Ramos, 27, was driving a Ford Mustang that crossed into oncoming traffic at about 2:15 a.m. Sunday on Memorial Drive near 23rd Street. Sergeant Darren Bristow of the Tulsa Police Department told News On 6 Ramos was speeding and intoxicated when the sports car jumped a raised center median into the path of a Nissan Versa.

The passenger in Ramos' car was pronounced dead at the scene. That person's name has not been released.
A witness told police Ramos was "already asleep and snoring" at the scene right after the fatality crash, according to the arrest report.
Officers found several open containers of beer in the front and back seat of the Mustang, the report states.
The arresting officer said the hospital called just before 8 a.m. Sunday and said Ramos was very drunk and sleeping.
They had observed no injuries on the man, whose address is listed as "unknown" on the jail web site.
Three people in the Nissan were also taken to the hospital with injuries, listed as non-life threatening in the arrest report. Police said Sunday that two were considered in critical condition.
