Tulsa Police Look For Suspected Credit Card Thief

Investigators from the TPD Riverside Division hope the public can help them identify a woman who stole credit and debit cards from workers near 61st and Lewis.

Editor's note: Tulsa Police say they have cleared the woman shown in the surveillance photos the department released in this case. A department spokesman says the woman shown in these photos was an innocent bystander and that the store gave the department photos of the wrong person. 

Tulsa Police issued photos of a woman they say is suspected of fraud. Investigators from the TPD Riverside Division hope the public can help identify her.

Police believe the woman stole credit and debit cards from the purses of employees working at a business near 6100 South Lewis on July 11, 2013. She then used the stolen cards at several different locations.

The photos are from surveillance footage at a convenience store where she used one of the stolen cards.

Anyone who recognizes the woman is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
