Tulsa Community Holds Celebration Of Life For Slain Girl

A Green Country mother wants to make sure her murdered daughter is not forgotten.

Gabby Bledsoe was stabbed to death six months ago inside her home.

Her mother planned a celebration of her life in Crawford Park, which took place on Saturday.

Friends and family are slowly coming to grips with what happened.

"I think the hardest part is what happened, how it happened, just turning 18," Gabby's mother Lacrecia said. "She wasn't in the streets. She was at home. She should've been safe."

Tulsa police say they think they know who killed Gabby, but they don't have enough evidence.

Lacrecia hopes someone who knows something will come forward and help police, so her daughter can finally have justice.
