A judge could rule on a request for documents in the case of a Tulsa megachurch being sued by the mother of a girl who was raped last year on ministry property.

However, the judge closed the courtroom to the public for Tuesday's hearing because Oklahoma Department of Human Services records involving a minor are being sought by attorneys for the Victory Christian Center.

The global ministry was sued in civil court in September for negligence and intentional infliction of emotional distress after the rape of the girl by former Victory janitor Chris Denman.

Denman was sentenced in December to 55 years in prison as a result of that rape and other crimes.

The Associated Press is not naming the girl's mother in order to protect the girl's identity.
