The City of Tulsa will start picking up tree debris created in last week's storm. Removal begins at 8 a.m. Monday on the outer edges of the city.

Debris pickup will continue on weekdays as crews work into the center of town where storm damage was heaviest.

That will give residents whose yards had the most damage extra time to get greenwaste ready for pickup.

  • Tree debris must be left at the curb
  • If you can, cut tree branches up into 4-foot or smaller bundles
  • Don't mix tree debris with other waste like roofing shingles etc.
  • Keep parked cars away from debris so grappler trucks can more easily pick it up

Trash and recycling collection will continue as normal.

Tulsa residents can also take their greenwaste debris to the City's processing site, 10401 East 56th Street North. It's open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and there's no charge.
