Tulsa Community College announced its Southeast Campus is back open after a power outage forced it to close for several hours Thursday.
TCC officials said in a news release that, during storm recovery efforts, one of the power lines feeding the campus was damaged. It resulted in a campus-wide power outage.
The school announced the power came back on Thursday afternoon, and the campus was back open for limited student services.
The closing affected only the TCC Southeast Campus, located at 81st Street and U.S. Highway 169.
The power outage interrupted the last day of the summer semester, so students with finals scheduled for Thursday should contact their respective faculty member regarding provisions for retaking final exams.
