Shock forward Glory Johnson has been named to the 2013 WNBA All-Star team. This will be Johnson's first appearance as an All-Star. Johnson is the second Shock player to be named to the All-Star team since the team moved to Tulsa following Elizabeth Cambage who appeared in 2011.

"I'm thankful that I've been given this opportunity," said Shock forward Glory Johnson. "I've been blessed enough to stay healthy and prove that all of the hard work put in during the off-season paid off."

Johnson is averaging 16.4 points, 10.2 rebounds, 43.4 percent from the field and 31.3 minutes per game in 18 games this season. Johnson leads the Shock in points, rebounds and minutes played this season. Johnson ranks third in the league in rebounds per game and has produced ten double-doubles in 18 games.

Johnson's career-high 32-point performance against Phoenix on June 16 is the most points scored by a Shock player since the team relocated to Tulsa.. Johnson was drafted fourth overall in the 2012 WNBA Draft and was named to the All-Rookie Team last season.
