City To Turn Off Water In Midtown Tulsa Neighborhood Tuesday Night

Residents and businesses in Midtown will be without water until Wednesday morning, as crews repair a leak in a water line.

The city says it's necessary to interrupt water service for a few hours to repair a 24-inch water line on South Vandalia Avenue. Places along Vandalia, from 4th Place to 15th Street will be affected.

The work is said to affect five businesses around 11th Street and South Vandalia and 200 homes, between 8 p.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday.

The City of Tulsa said those affected should have been notified Tuesday morning.

While the water is off, there will be a trailer containing potable water, where can fill containers.
