Testimony wrapped up Tuesday in the preliminary hearing for two brothers accused in a quadruple murder.

James and Cedric Poore are charged in the murders of Rebeika Powell, Kayetie Powell Melchor, Misty Nunley and Julie Jackson at the Fairmont Terrace Apartments near 61st and Peoria.

Testimony ended around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

As soon as court resumed after lunch, a lawyer who represents two witnesses told the judge that someone saw one of James and Cedric Poore's brothers taking cell phone pictures of witnesses as they entered the courthouse.

The judge addressed Eric Poore and told him that this type of intimidation will not be tolerated.

Shortly after that, the only witness to take the stand Tuesday continued his four-hour testimony.

That witness was DeAndre Jones. He and his sister, Jamila Jones, stayed in an apartment at Fairmont Terrace.

In court, Jones testified that all three of them were at the apartment the morning of the murders.

Jones said Cedric Poore showed up to the apartment at some point, and Jones overheard James Poore say, "Are you ready to hit this lick?"

Jones testified that, shortly after that, he left the complex and walked to the Tulsa Hills shopping center, and when he returned, he saw police cars, ambulances and fire trucks, but had no idea what was happening.

Jones' sister is also a witness in the case.

At one point, Jones said his sister told him she may be in a lot of trouble, "because of the situation and because she is dating James."

But Jones testified in court that his sister is innocent.

Cedric Poore's wife, Casey, and daughter took the stand Monday, both saying it was the brother James who admitted killing the women.

Another witness testified about the moment she discovered the four women dead. That sent the victims' families out of the courtroom in tears.

The preliminary hearing is scheduled to continue on September 9, 2013.
