Skiatook Mom Teaches Lesson On A Street Corner

A Green Country mother came up with a unique way to punish her son and his friend.

She made her son, DeAngelo, and his friend Trey, stand on a street corner in Skiatook with signs reading - "I think I'm grown, so I snuck out and the cops took me home," and "I'm a follower - peer pressure got me a ride home from the cops."

Mom tells us the boys "snuck" out to meet some girls - and she was finally fed up.

"I had to prove a point and I didn't know how else to do it. Take their cell phones away - we've done that before but we have a reoccurring issue," said mom Holly Scoggins.

"They'll be good for a month then they'll forget, so I hope this will work."

The police brought the boys home early Saturday morning.

The boys tell us they are learning their lesson.
