Broken Bow Firefighters Recover Body After Man Jumps From Bridge

Broken Bow Fire and Rescue recovered the body of a drowning victim Saturday in McCurtain County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Broken Bow Fire and Rescue recovered the body of a drowning victim Saturday in McCurtain County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

It happened just after 3 p.m. near Eagletown.

Troopers say Eric Wayne Fant jumped off the Mountain Fork Bridge on Highway 70 into the Mountain Fork River and never resurfaced.

Fant, 26, was from Texarkana, Texas.

The drowning was investigated by the OHP's Marine Enforcement section.
