The heat is proving dangerous for animals in our community.
Tulsa Animal Welfare says four dogs have died from the heat in the last 24 hours.
Three of those dogs were chained up and got tangled, preventing them from getting to water or shade.
The fourth had long hair and just couldn't take the higher temperatures. It was found alive, but later died.
Animal Welfare recommends placing several plastic water containers that can't be tipped over outside where the animals can get to them. They say owners should also try not to chain or tether their pets, in case they get tangled up.
