A woman was arrested Sunday for vandalizing the new Rogers County courthouse.

The arrest report shows Mercedes Curley told a sergeant with the sheriff's department that she had written several messages on the courthouse with a black sharpie.

Curley was booked into Rogers County jail on complaints of second degree burglary, public intoxication, and two counts of malicious injury or destruction of property.

The records show that she told the sergeant that she was high on meth and was at the courthouse because she wanted to see her mother, who was in prison.

It says that during the interview, she admitted that, over four hours, she vandalized the building and two police vehicles.
