Two people were rushed to the hospital after a wreck on Highway 169 near the Broken Arrow Expressway.

Police arrested 33-year-old Cortney Russell on a complaint of driving under the influence in the injury wreck.

Police say a man and woman had stalled out on an onramp to northbound Highway 169 at about 2 a.m. Friday when they were hit from behind by Russell's Mazda. Because of the chaotic scene, police hadn't yet sorted out whether the victims were inside the car or outside pushing it when they were hit.

The man had a broken ankle and possible concussion, and the woman had a broken arm, according to Corporal R.W. Solomon of the Tulsa Police Department.

The car that was hit caught fire, but no one was burned.

Police say Russell smelled of alcohol and admitted she had been drinking at a midtown bar. Police say her blood alcohol content was 0.16.
