A man was taken to a Tulsa hospital after he was shot during a bar fight, according to Tulsa Police. The fight happened just before 2 a.m. outside the Four Aces Tavern at 41st and Garnett.
Police say two men inside the tavern began fighting, and it spilled out into the parking lot.
Jeremy Burnes, 24, grabbed a loaded semi-automatic handgun from his truck, according to an arrest report. He shot the other man in the thigh, police say.
EMSA took the wounded man to the hospital, where he told police he did not want to press charges against the shooter.
However, police arrested Burnes for reckless handling of a firearm and carrying a wespon while under the influence of alcohol.
Police say Burnes smelled of alcohol, had slurred speech and was unsteady on his feet. He was booked into Tulsa County Jail on a $2,000 bond.
