Organizers and volunteers spent Friday afternoon setting up for Tulsa's Relay For Life at ONEOK Field.

The event kicks off at 7 p.m. with the opening ceremony and the survivor's victory lap, when survivors walk to celebrate their victory over cancer.

The relay will be followed by a Fight Back ceremony, when participants pledge their commitment to spreading awareness about the disease.

Organizers are enrolling people in a cancer prevention study, as well, throughout the evening. They are looking for 130 people between 30 and 65 years of age, who have never been diagnosed with cancer. Enrollment in the study starts at 6:30 and ends at 10:30 p.m.

Money raised Friday night supports the American Cancer Society.
