One Death Reported In Car-Truck Collision On Highway 412 Near Inola

One person has died in a wreck involving a car and a dump truck on Highway 412 near Inola in Rogers County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a dump truck, driven by Dennis May, 57, of Pryor, that was northbound on County Road NS 423 collided with a Ford Fusion that was westbound on Highway 412.

The OHP says the impact killed the driver of the car, who has been identified as Kerry Fort, 38, from Tulsa.

May was not injured.

The dump truck belongs to Rogers County. According to OHP, the driver of the dump truck failed to yield, driving into the path of Fort's car.
