Tulsa Mother Arrested For Forcing Girl To Have Unnecessary Medical Treatments

A Tulsa mother charged with child abuse by Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy has been arrested.

Tonya Thomas, 26, was booked into jail late Sunday night and is being held on more than $50,000 bond.

Prosecutors say Thomas forced her daughter to go through repeated, painful medical tests in order to get attention.
