Law enforcement sources say a former University of Oklahoma football player was arrested Wednesday night, accused of trafficking crack cocaine.
Tulsa Police say De'Mond Parker was the passenger in a car that was stopped by officers Wednesday night. Sources say, when the officers turned on their lights, they noticed Parker shoving items underneath his seat.
When he was asked to step out of the car and was searched, officers say they found some marijuana.
At that point, officers found that Parker, who played at OU from 1996 to 1998, before being drafted by the Green Bay Packers in 1999, was wanted on a misdemeanor warrant.
Police say they searched the car and found 28 grams of crack cocaine under the passenger seat.
Jail records show Parker was booked into Tulsa County jail Wednesday night on complaints of trafficking crack and possession of marijuana. His bond was set at over $25,000.
