Oklahoma Soldier Gets Life In Prison For Starving Girlfriend's Son To Death

An Oklahoma Army private was sentenced to life in prison for starving his girlfriend's 10-year-old son to death.

It happened back in May 2011, at Fort Sill.

Prosecutors say 33-year-old Private First Class Connell Williams deprived the boy of food as punishment.

He cut a deal to avoid the death penalty.

The boy's mother, Candice Holloway, was sentenced to 30 years in prison.
