Every service member deserves a hero's welcome home, and that's what the people of Jenks gave them Saturday morning. First Baptist Church and the Oklahoma National Guard hosted a Yellow Ribbon Reintegration event.

These events provide a much needed service to the heroes and their families every step of the way.

"We do events prior to the deployment, during the deployment for the families to help them with any issues their having during the deployment and after the deployment to help families and service members with the reintegration process," said Lieutenant Colonel Kris Evans.
