Tulsa Police arrested the driver of an SUV after it slammed into the back of a car on Highway 169 early Thursday.
Officers say another driver witnessed the crash and followed the Range Rover to a parking lot on 91st Street while calling police.
Police arrested the driver, Jamie Dwyer, 27, on complaints of leaving the scene of an injury crash and driving under the influence.
Police say the Range Rover struck the car on 169 so hard, it knocked the car more than 400 feet, spinning it around to face oncoming traffic.
The witness told officers the SUV continued south and exited onto 91st Street.
Police say Dwyer declined to take a field sobriety test before he was taken to the Tulsa County jail.
EMSA took the driver of the car to the hospital. Police say her injuries were not life-threatening.
