Oklahoma Congressman Introduces Bill Proposing Federal Term Limits

Tulsa's congressman has introduced a plan for Capitol Hill term limits.

Representative Jim Bridenstine teamed up with a Texas Democrat for what he says is the first bi-partisan push for federal term limits in more than a decade.

Bridenstine cites a Gallup poll that found 75 percent of Americans favor term limits.

He said term limits would also help lawmakers focus on governing, instead of non-stop campaigning.
