Broken Arrow police arrested a man following a nearly six-hour standoff in the 2900 block of North 22nd Street Sunday evening.

Police got called to the home at 4:20 p.m. in reference to a domestic assault and battery. When officers arrived, a woman in the home told officers by cell phone, if they didn't go away, John Pruner, 32, was going to kill everyone inside.

The woman was able to escape out the front door, leaving a 2-year-old toddler still inside. Police talked Pruner into releasing the toddler, however, Pruner refused to leave.

At about 10:15 p.m., police used a flash-bang device inside the home and took Pruner into custody.

Police said the toddler had no visible signs of injury.

Inside the home, police recovered three handguns.

Pruner was booked into the Broken Arrow jail on complaints of domestic assault and battery, assault with a deadly weapon, kidnapping and rape.
