Service To Be Disrupted For Some Creek County Water Customers Monday

Creek County Rural Water District No. 2 will be shutting off water to customers for a short time Monday night. Customers who live or work from 91st Street South to 101st Street South, and from Elwood Avenue to 33rd West Avenue will be affected.

Water will be shut off starting at 10 p.m. as a contractor installs a new valve, according to a news release. The repair work is expected to take three to four hours.

The work was scheduled late at night in hopes of causing the least disruption to customers, the release states. Customers in the affected area are encouraged to have water stored in containers prior to the shut off.
