Rider Hurt When Motorcycle Hits Curb In Sand Springs

A motorcycle rider was taken to a Tulsa hospital after crashing his bike early Tuesday on a Sand Springs street.

Police say the crash occurred on Charles Page Boulevard at Adams Road just after 1:30 a.m.

Officers say the motorcycle rider was turning at the intersection and hit a curb, throwing him from the bike.

EMSA took him to the hospital in serious condition.

Sand Springs Police say he was not wearing a helmet.
