Tulsa Man Arrested For Abusing 11-Year-Old

A Tulsa man was arrested on Friday on accusations he pulled an 11-year-old boy up by the hair and pushed his head into the wall, a police report says.

Police said they were called to St. Francis Hospital on Friday and met with a doctor who was treating the boy. The doctor reportedly told officers the boy had bruises on his hip and a bump on his head.

Shane Andrew Sodsaikich, 30, was arrested after a witness said she watched as he grabbed the boy's hair to pull him off the floor, pushed him down twice and pushed his head into the wall, the report says.

The woman told police she yelled for Sodsaikich to stop hurting the boy, according to the report.

Sodsaikich is being held at the Tulsa County jail on a felony child abuse complaint and $50,000 bond.
