Tulsa Public Schools will hold a community forum Thursday concerning the possible sale of Barnard school site near 17th Street and Lewis Avenue.
The Tulsa School of Arts and Sciences, a charter school, was housed at Barnard until a fire on September 5, 2012, caused extensive damage to the building. The building was demolished a few months later.

The district says they've received an offer, but the Tulsa Public School board decided to hold off making a decision on the sale until the board meets with community residents.
A representative for the prospective buyer, Quapaw Investments will be at the forum. Stephen Buford of Quapaw Investments has indicated to the school district he wants to construct a medical rehabilitation facility at the location.
The community forum is Thursday, April 25th at 6 p.m. at the Wilson Teaching and Learning Academy at 2710 East 11th Street.
