The event at Shredders Inc. comes on the heels of a huge ID theft bust made earlier this month.

And on Saturday, hundreds of people lined the street to drop off their personal documents.
Shredders Inc. partnered with the Better Business Bureau, and expected to mow through almost 12 tons of paper in one day.
The company had two shredding trucks running outside, along with two other machines inside the building.
At last count, they were just short of 600 cars and expect to reach last year's total of 950.

Amie Mitchell with the Better Business Bureau said this is an extremely important service because of how easily you can become a victim of Identity Theft.
"Identify theft thieves have gotten very crafty, they just need a little information, and it can take years to resolve what they've damaged," Director of Accreditation Amie Mitchell said. "You 'd be amazed at how many of your account numbers are on your basic information in the mail,
Mitchell says things as simple as an address or a phone number can give thieves what they need to steal your identity.
Shredders Inc. offers this twice a year, with the next one coming up in October.
