Tulsa Man Alerts Police To Fire At Neighbor's House

Tulsa Police say a neighbor noticed smoke coming from the rear of the home and flagged down an officer.

The Tulsa Fire Department had to put out a house fire late Thursday near 47th Place North and Atlanta.

Tulsa Police say a neighbor noticed smoke coming from the rear of the home and flagged down an officer. When firefighters arrived they found the add-on portion of the home on fire.

Tulsa Fire say the family and their pets got out of the home unharmed.

Fire officials said the rear of the home sustained structural damage.  No word on what started the fire.

The Red Cross was called out to assist the family.
