Candidates File Paperwork Declaring Run For Tulsa Mayor

Campaign 2013 is officially kicking off in Tulsa. Candidates must officially declare their candidacies over the next three days.

Former Mayor Kathy Taylor and former City Councilor Bill Christiansen filed the necessary paperwork Monday to run for the city's top job.

Current Mayor Dewey Bartlett tells us he'll file Tuesday.

Other offices that will be on the Tulsa ballot include city auditor and city council positions in Districts 2, 5 and 8 as well as Tulsa County Commission District 3.

Candidates have until 5 o'clock Wednesday evening to file.

The city primary is June 11, 2013 and it is open to voters of all political parties.
