Tulsa Police: Motorcycle Rider Hits Jeep, Rolls It Over

A motorcycle crashed into the back of a Jeep Cherokee late Wednesday, causing the driver of the Jeep to roll over.

Tulsa Police say motorcycling heading north in the 6400 block of South Sheridan hit the Jeep at 11:20 p.m.

The impact sent the Jeep off the road, causing it to roll over once. Police say the motorcycle rider was thrown from his motorcycle.

Police say he was driving at a high rate of speed at the time of the crash.

The driver of the Jeep was wearing his seat belt and wasn't hurt, but the motorcycle rider was taken by EMSA to the hospital suffering from a leg injury.

Police say he is expected to be okay.
