Miami College Livestock Judging Team Wins At Texas Show

Members of the Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College Livestock Judging Team pick up a win in the cattle division at the San Antonio Stock Show.

The NEO competed against 13 other junior college teams, and was named fourth in reasons, fifth in sheep, high team in cattle, third in hogs, and fourth high team overall.

The judging team was competing in the intercollegiate livestock judging contest at the show on February 23rd.

The team included three students from Oklahoma. Abby Hendrickson from Adair, Lindsay Reid from Harrah and Heston Prewitt from Perry.

"I'm very proud of this team," said Tyler Dewey, livestock judging coach. "They continue to improve in every division at each contest."
