Tulsa County Sheriff's deputies chasing a suspect wanted on outstanding warrants near 31st and Memorial Tuesday afternoon prompted a lockdown at the Tulsa Tech Lemley campus.

The sheriff's office says it all started at the Super 8 Motel in the 12400 block of East 51st Street.

Authorities say Terance Sanders had bonded out of the Tulsa County Jail on some city complaints. After he left, it was found that he had other outstanding charges of a more serious nature.

Sheriff's deputies went to arrest Sanders and after a short foot chase found him hiding in some bushes outside the Drysdales Clothing Store.

The lockdown was lifted after Sanders' arrest.
