Low-Cost Healthcare Service Opens New Office In West Tulsa

A low-cost healthcare center in Tulsa is expanding to offer more people easier access.

Morton Comprehensive Health Services opened its newest satellite office Friday at the Cornerstone Community Center in west Tulsa, at 4122 West 55th Place South.

It will be open three afternoons a week, for now.

"A lot of the population is uninsured, but according to our mission, this is where we need to be. We're hoping, as we build our presence here, that organizations will kind of band together to support our services and maybe help us make this a full-time endeavor," said Morton CEO John Silva.

A shuttle will take patients who need a service that isn't available at the satellite center, like the pharmacy or dental office, to the main location in north Tulsa.
