Three Rogers State Hillcats were named to the 2012-13 All-Sooner Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Team the conference.
Donald Williams headlines the trio of Hillcats as the Baton Rouge, La. native was named to the second team. In the regular season Williams shot 37 percent from three-point and totaled 493 points averaging 16.4 per game.
Kendrell Thompson and Ken Holdman were named to the all-conference third team. Thompson started all 26 games he appeared in this season before having his season cut short due to injury. A native of Houston, Texas, Thompson averaged 13.3 points per game and 3.4 boards per game while nabbing 25 steals and 55 assists. Holdman is averaging 13.6 points per game and 4.4 rebounds with 53 steals on the year.
Mid-America Christian's Charlie Shorter was named conference Player of the Year while teammate Angelo Lewis was named Newcomer of the Year. John Brown's Kofi Josephs was named Freshman of the Year and Golden Eagles head coach Clark Sheehy was named Coach of the Year as JBU earned its first-ever regular season SAC title going 14-2 in the league.
Oklahoma Baptist's David Johnson earned Defensive Player of the Year honors while Graham Faulkner of USAO and Lubbock Christian's Tyler Kennedy were named Co-Sportsmanship Award winners.
Shorter along with USAO's Norris Rumph, Johnson of OBU, John Brown's Coleson Rakestraw and Oklahoma City's Charlton Jones were named to the All-SAC First Team.

Rogers State (20-10, 8-8) will face the third-seeded Mid-America Christian Evangels at 9:45 p.m. Thursday in the opening round of the conference tournament inside the Noble Complex on the campus of Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Okla.
