A patch of ice on the highway resulted in an overturned bread truck just after 6 a.m. Saturday. The driver told police he was northbound on U.S. Highway 75 near Pine when he hit the ice patch and went to the right.

Police say he overcorrected and crossed left into the center median. The Blue Bird bread truck flipped and came to rest on its side.

The driver was not injured, according to Tulsa Police Corporal Dan Miller.

"We still have a few places with black ice around, so if you're going to be out driving, be extremely careful," Miller said.

"This stuff is still freezing up in the middle of the night or in the morning."
