Police: Report Of Mass Shooting Inside Tulsa Home Was False Alarm

Tulsa Police and emergency personnel were dispatched to a home Thursday morning on a report of a mass shooting, but the call turned out to be a false alarm.

Police say a woman had called officers telling them that several people had been shot inside the home near 51st and Sheridan.

After Tulsa Police surrounded the home, shutting down traffic on streets nearby, they determined the report of the shooting was false.

Police said the woman who made the call was detained and questioned.
