The of the Muscogee Creek Nation, George Tiger is in Alabama, has negotiated the release of a tribal member from jail.
Wayland Gray is charged with trespassing and making a terrorist threat. He was one of four men arrested last Friday for trespassing on sacred land, where the Poarch Band of Creek Indians are building a casino.
Gray was released on bond Tuesday afternoon after Chief Tiger got his bond reduced from $30,000 to $15,000, according to a release from the Muskogee Creek Nation.
The tribe says the construction has disturbed burial grounds. The men say they were trying to pray for their Muscogee ancestors.
Gray is the only one charged with making a terrorist threat.
The Muskogee Creek Nation filed a federal lawsuit in December, 2012, to prevent the Poarch Band from "engaging in ground-disturbing activity at the ceremonial ground," according to a new release.
Principal Chief Tiger and Gray are expected back in Okmulgee Friday evening.
