Bixby Pizza Place Donating Night's Sales To Local Food Pantry

Domino's Pizza, in Bixby, is giving families a chance to avoid doing dishes and a chance to help their community.

It's donating 10 percent of its total sales from Wednesday night to the Bixby Outreach Center.

The center's food pantry serves more than 13,000 people each year, and it doesn't take a lot to make a big difference.

"For every dollar that is donated to the center, I can turn that into five meals. That's a big opportunity for us to feed the families locally here in Bixby," said Natalie Kemmerly, of the Bixby Outreach Center.

The outreach doesn't just help families in Bixby, though. It serves people in all of south Tulsa, including Jenks and Glenpool.
