Medical Condition May Have Led To Tulsa Traffic Death

The driver of a mini-van has died following a crash on 71st Street on the Arkansas River bridge.

Tulsa Police say the crash occurred shortly before 7 a.m. in the westbound lanes of 71st Street.   Officers say EMSA took Jimmie Weaver, 66, to a Tulsa hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police say they are not sure if injuries from the crash or a medical problem prior to the crash led to Weaver's death. Tulsa Police say the state Medical Examiner's Office will have to make that determination.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
