The Central Hockey League announced Monday that Tulsa Oilers forward Ryan Menei has been selected as the Oakley CHL Player of the Week for the period ending February 3.

In three games last week, Menei paced the Oilers to a 3-0-0 record by chipping in seven goals and four assists. Tuesday against Denver, Menei opened the scoring and tallied the shootout game-winner to push the Oilers to a 4-3 victory over the Cutthroats. The sixth year pro followed up his stellar performance by scoring twice in the span of five minutes during the second period of Saturday's contest against Missouri. Menei also registered two assists in the 6-4 win over the Mavericks, his first four-point outing of the season. The Winnipeg native saved his best for the final game of the week, a 5-4 shootout win over rival Wichita. Once again, Menei found the net twice in regulation and snapped home the shootout winner to post his first hat-trick as a member of the Oilers.

Menei has ten goals in his last ten games and ranks fourt in the CHL scoring race with 56 points. The 26-year old leads the Oilers with four game-winning goals this season.
