Three Men Attempt Prescription Drug Robbery At Tulsa Nursing Home

Tulsa Police are looking for three men who tried to rob a nursing home of prescription drugs early Thursday.

The attempt took place at Companion's Specialized Care Center near 36th and Sheridan at 3:30 a.m.

Police say the three men forced an employee inside as she was taking a smoke break, getting her to gather up prescription drugs from a locked area inside.

Officers say something spooked the men and they ran away with the employee's purse but not the drugs.

The victim was not injured.

The K9 officer tracked the men to a nearby apartment complex but lost their scent.
