An alert neighbor helped Tulsa Police capture one of two juveniles who had broken into a home near 29th and Garnett early Thursday.

When officers arrived at the vacant home on East 29th they saw two teens run away. Police arrested one, a 15-year-old, but the other got away.

Officers used a K9 officer to track the teen, but the dog lost his scent.

Officers say a neighbor had noticed a glow coming from the home and called police. Police believe the two teens had broken into the home and were trying to start a fire in the fireplace to stay warm.
