Tulsa Zoo Gives 100-Year-Old Tortoise Big Send-Off

An Aldabra giant tortoise named Rocket fizzled out in his attempt to mate with two females at the Tulsa Zoo.

Soon, he'll head to New York to try again at the Bronx Zoo.

Wednesday was his big send-off reception, and Rocket's keepers hope a change of scenery is all he needs.

First thing Thursday morning, they'll load Rocket into his shipping crate, and then aboard a cargo plane for the flight to New York.
