If you thought Christmas was over—well, it's not over for everybody.

The Grand River Dam Authority is collecting old Christmas trees for its first ever "Crappie Christmas."

GRDA plans to use the trees to create fish habitats in Grand and Hudson Lakes.

You can drop off trees in the parking lot of the old Lake Patrol building on the west end of Pensacola Dam.

GRDA will let folks know where they can put the trees so fishermen can take advantage of the new habitats.

It hopes to make this an annual event.
